Wake up !!!

Wake up in the early morning
I do not see the crimson beam glaring
The white feathers are faded away
And then black bone wishes
Hello have a good day

Glaciers are running through these bones
Snowpards are trailing from their homes
Its not the winter has gone
But the global warming has already come

Everyone is keen to be powerful
Everyone anticipates to be developed
But no one knows what will happen tomorrow

So,
Why are we laughing
At the Himalayas screaming
And
Why are we nonchalance
To save all from eternal dying

Home is where the heart is !!!

There is always a cycle for everything that are exited in this world. For rain there is water cycle. For living beings there is life cycle. Likewise there is also a lifecycle for our lovely Earth. If we are ill then we do medical check up and that may cure us but if we do not do so then definitely we will suffer a lot and may die. Although we have to die one day, the treatment will extend our life span. So do earth. If we care ourselves then why are we being careless to our lovely earth? We know that one day our earth will be collapse but if we care it then its life will be long. Now it is the time to save our earth from destruction. Here are some of the facts that we can know how our earth is degrading day by day.

  1. We have suffered a lot due to forest fire in different national parks and conservation areas by which we lost huge number valuable flora and fauna. The recent wild fire in different forest of Nepal, California and Spain are such divesting examples.
  2. Over the last three to four years the precipitation has fallen across most part of different countries with a dry winter.
  3. Few days ago Kailali, Dadheldura, Achham which are western districts of Nepal, were hit by flood and landslide killing more then 50 peoples and thousands displaced from home.
  4. Himalayan region which used to be covered with packs of snow are gradually changing to black rock. More then 20 glaciers have been found in Himalayas of Nepal. Also the polar ice caps are also melting with great rate thus increasing sea level.
  5. Sea levels are rising with a rapid rate of 3mm/yr which could be more in coming days. About 600 millions people living in low lying areas are in danger of being flooded. By 2050, in Bangladesh, it is estimated that 70 millions people could be affected by floods and 8 millions by drought.

So what can we do now? We can do a lot. A little effort form our side can make a big difference. Using alternative sources of energy like wind energy, solar energy, bio fuels and hydro energy rather then using fossils fuel can reduce carbon emission with a great rate. Replacing convectional electric bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) save one quarter electricity because 7-watt CFLs are comparable to regular 40-watt bulbs. Constructing building by use of concrete as well as slag. Mixing slag with concrete saves energy and makes the concrete stronger. Save water because we do not know that excess use of ground water also increases sea level. The ground water used by Northern Indians adds as much as 5% of total rise in sea level which is equivalent to rising of sea level by melting of Alaskan glaciers.

These are the things that we can do daily but unless there is no any strict rules and regulation regarding carbon emission and energy consumption these matter would not help a lot. Kyoto protocol is going to be finished by 2012 which will be replaced by climate change conference going to be held on this dec7 - dec18 at Copenhagen. USA and China contributes 40% of total carbon emission. So unless there is no treaty between USA and China regarding reduction of carbon emission we would not get enough fruit from this conference. “Home” is where the “Heart” is. But if there is no heart, obviously there will be no home. So let’s hope for better result from Copenhagen conference.

Its not late...

It is not a voice from me, it is the voice from just stupid common young Nepali who hears , who watches all the aggression from the neighbouring country India and can do nothing against it. His hands are paralized. His throat is hollow. His brain is blank. He just listens the news that Indian SSB captures bla.. bla.. hecters of Nepali lands, just listens that man are beatten severely by SSB, just listen that girls and women are raped by SSB in front their family and so on. Its all due to serventness of our Nepalese politicians. We have not heard a single news that Girija Prashad Koirala during his tenure had raise a single voice against Indian aggression nor do Prachand and recent prime minister Madav Kumar Nepal. Its sems that Maoist are raising voice agains Indian aggression with a great pride but where had gone those nationalist maoist when they were in government. But finally they have come to the street against these Indian agression. It is good and they should continue the fight but why are NC and UML not supporting them. It is not just trouble of people of susta, bara and dang. Its the matter of sovernighty of whole Nepal. It's seems clearly that politician are busy in choosing the chairs and post. Though Nepal is far small and weak country in front of India, we can be more strong and independent one if we all Nepalese unite and also if all the these greedy politician unite and kick their greedness. If each brick of the wall is plastered strongly then no one can break the wall to enter the house. So i dont think its late to unite and raise a combined and united voice and say "Indian Agression Murdabaad".

"Ghajini" in ME Village

We have our very own GHAJINI in ME Village. He is here, Mr. Sanjay Rajbhandari as Mr. Sanjay Singhania in GHAJINI.

हामी villager लाई त एकदमै डर लाग्छ यो सञ्जयसँग ॥ कुटो भने त कुटिहालो नि !!!!!!

Nothing new !!

Nothing new and exciting in Village. Days are passing by..................

Internet 24*7 now

the ME Villa has now net available 24*7 from now onwards. this was only possible due 2 inverter. Now villagers can be onlyn at the time of loadsheedings also.

Best of Luck GD !!

All the villagers like to wish best of luck to GD for his upcoming chess match in the KU sports week. The match is scheduled for March 12 with psycho Rojan from ME 1st year. Best of Luck GD !! GD is the only competitor in any sports event from ME Village.

The Inverter is ON 24*7

Finally, ME village is equipped with 24 hours power supply with the purchase of 60 watts OMNI inverter with EXIDE battery. It is said that the inverter will last for 4 hours in its full power consumption. With only half of its power is used to light ME village, it is expected to power ME Village 24*7 if no further increase in load shedding occurs.

Also the inverter back ups WI-FI internet router, internet facility remains uninterrupted 24*7 in laptops. The Villagers are one step up in their mission of facilitating the Village. Congrats Villagers !!!!

Finally Er.Goverdhan topped mevillage.

Gpa sheet has been lunched in the village. Gpa of the villagers is listed below:
Er. Goverdhan Shrestha- 3.2
Er. Prabesh Poudel- 3.0
Er. Ananta Bhusal- 2.8
Er. Sanjay Rajbhandari- 2.7
Er. Prajwol Shrestha- 2.6
Although the villagers had worked hard to ascend their gpa, they could not succeed due to some personal problems rather the gpa has been gone through descending order. So all the villagers have join hands to uplift the gpa and promished not to copy all the assingments. It is sad to hear that one of our villagers had gone through mental problem because he had secured "C" in his core subject. Lastly Er. GD had topped mevillage with gpa 3.2.

"Fun Unlimited" comes to an end

"Fun Unlimited" the slogan of ME village has come to an end. 1 exercise long assignment of Mrs. Jyoti Upadhyaya, 12 questions of Samir Shrestha, some questions of Mrs. Ambika Karkee and Pratisthit lal Shrestha plus new assignment of Mr. Prachanda Man Pradhan stopped the fun of ME village now. Villagers are unhappy specially with Mrs. Jyoti for completing chapter 1.2.3.4.5 & 8 in no time. All the villagers are wondering what Statistics and Probablity is !!!

Poor Villagers are carrying large burden of assignments !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to get the solve of assignments soon !!!!!
